My Story

Jerina brings a unique blend of clinical, regulatory, and policy expertise, informed by her extensive work aligning national public health initiatives with European Union (EU). She has designed and delivered capacity-building workshops for local authorities to strengthen regulatory compliance, a foundational experience that underpins her ability to navigate cross-border health policies and market access pathways.

Her expertise in pharmacovigilance systems and pharmacoepidemiologic methods focuses on navigating European Medicines Agency (EMA) and local European regulations for the market access of pharmaceuticals, natural health products, and other regulated goods. She has deep, practical experience in executing advanced medicines benefit–risk assessments and evaluating treatment outcomes. Her work also extends to innovating standard practices by integrating AI methods to optimize safety literature reviews.

Jerina has actively advised on and contributed to global health frameworks, participating in the UNODC Commission on Narcotic Drugs and contributing to the World Drug Report 2025. Her work includes drafting public-health policies and guidelines that bridge the gap between regulatory requirements and real-world safety. Active in professional communities, she is a member of the International Health Economics Association (IHEA) and the International Society of Pharmacovigilance (ISoP), where she contributes to the student advisory committee, applying her leadership and multilingual skills (English and Italian) to international health initiatives.

At Vigiquest Analytics, Jerina supports product benefit-risk assessment and Market Access strategies by aligning post-marketing surveillance systems to EMA regulations for clients seeking to access and succeed in the European Market.
